"Entering the area is like you're in a hidden forest. It is enclosed with fences and a lot of trees planted. It is not an exposed place. It's just really in a secret place."
[BANTAY, ILOCOS SUR, PHILIPPINES] ▬ The military is a very valuable part of every state because they protect and defend the state against unlawful invasion and in violation of the state's rights. March 02, 2011, Wednesday, it was a hardcore sunny day wearing my black jeans and cotton-made comfortable polo shirt that fit the season, I visited the firing range of Camp Quirino.
[BANTAY] ▬ POLICEMEN SNAP SHOT
About several hundred meters away at around 4:00 in the afternoon I started hearing loud gun-shot sounds. It was a bit scary wondering you might get hit by an astray bullet! Braggggg! Awwww! Tsugggggg! That's not cool already! That's not fun, that's chaotic
While approaching a firing squad of police/military group having a gun shooting training, I was so scared and nervous. We asked permission from some of the policemen in entering the area and they gave us instructions where to enter. I was still hesitant to enter because I'm hearing loud gun sounds. It felt like the bullet will hit you any moment of your life.
[BANTAY] ▬ A SQUAD OF POLICEMEN
The squad of people in camouflage, both male and female, no excuse, they have to ignite the gun! I supposed to get more photos but I understand, the military people are quite sensitive and paranoid. They might regard me as a spy or a member of a leftist group if I do so. So to stay safe, I took these photos from a "hiding" manner. It's not totally safe to just show your camera right before their tiger look eyes!
Entering the area is like you're in a hidden forest. It is enclosed with fences and a lot of trees planted. It is not an exposed place. It's just really in a secret place.
I was able to talk with Senior Police Inspector Redentor Arce, one of the high-ranking officials of Camp Quirino. To my great surprise, Mr Arce was able to handle the case of Jason Ivler. I just hope you're familiar with him. Just search it in Google. Mr Arce told me that Jason Ivler is such a good-looking guy with good nice skin. That was his adjectives.
I learned from Mr Arce that the firing activity happening this moment is part of their training. It's just about upgrading the skills of low-performing policemen, meaning, these policemen might have no great good records that's why they need to upgrade. That's great Mr Arce and to the admins of PNP! I usually see policemen to be bully (this is just me). With this training, it shows that they also have weaknesses. They can't act as if they can bully you this time. They need to work in humility as if they don't have guns... Right? ▬ end
[END] ▬ IT'S MY FIRST TIME TO VISIT A FIRING RANGE.
