This might have been the reason why this burger is gaining a dose of popularity here.

THIS BURGER I'M FEATURING NOW IS WHAT they call the Bigueños home-made burger. It has thick tasty patty sandwiched with cheese and other taste-enhancing ingredients and sesame seeds-filled bun. Its familiar taste is comfortable to the taste buds. There's nothing magical about the taste but its affordable price at 75pesos each has made it stellar for its quality and size.

The name Bigueños came from the word 'Bigueño', a term used to refer to the citizens of Vigan.

SO WHY I'M WRITING ABOUT THIS BURGER? You won't probably fully understand the reason if you are not from Vigan. Being a resident of this city, I know the things that are going popular, hip and trendy in our place. This relatively cheap burger, having captured the palate of some Bigueños, has once become part of their lives.

In the event that this burger shall disappear on the menu too soon (I hope it won't happen though), those who haven't tried it would at least have an idea what the older Bigueños are talking about. I'm writing this to serve as future reference of Vigan's pop-culture that changes so fast. ▬ end
