"The facilities are well-engineered—truly a work of the experts. Pine trees are part of the activities and they claim that no tree was harmed."
[BAGUIO, BENGUET, PHILIPPINES] ▬ Baguio constantly reinvents itself. In fact, the reinvention is inevitable because of its promising business climate. Stakeholders need to go with the flow of what's hip and popular. To stand out in the sea of tourism-related enterprises, you must be unique and innovative, hence, there are constant changes in Baguio and we cannot stop this. Its tourism is a big deal so related investments are making its tourism industry dynamic. One of the unique activities to do in Baguio that is reinventing Baguio as an adventure destination is the Tree Top Adventure located in Camp John Hay.
[BAGUIO] ▬ THIS IS ONE OF THE ACTIVITIES TO DO IN TREE TOP ADVENTURE.
▬ What's Tree Top Adventure All About? ▬
#BAGUIO
THE TREE TOP ADVENTURE PARK IN BAGUIO was established in 2010. My experience in this adventure park introduced me to the idea of mixing extreme adventures with nature—in this case, it's the pine forests of Baguio. This adventure destination amazed me. The idea of putting up adventure facilities within a pine forest and in between pine trees is I think so clever and creative. I personally felt the strong presence of mother nature while enjoying the adventure activities.
The facilities are well-engineered—truly a work of the experts. Pine trees are part of the activities and they claim that no tree was harmed.
Tour guides and operators of the facilities are all well-trained to give first aid and basic rope access rescue.
So if you are seeking for thrilling and quite extreme man-designed adventures in Baguio, Tree Top Adventure Park is for you.
▬ How to Begin? ▬
THE FIRST STEP TO DO IS TO buy a ticket depending on the package you availed. There are 5 activities offered by this park as of this post that can be availed individually should you wish. However, if you want to try more than one activity, availing the adventure packages helps save a penny. To give you an idea what are these packages, see the enumeration below.
► Individual Rates
► Package Rates
THIS ACTIVITY ALLOWS YOU TO EXPLORE THE pine forests of Camp John Hay as you travel through trees using a network of four motorized cable cars. At an elevation of 100 feet above the ground, I would say this is not for the fainthearted.
For the Funicular Ride, eight motorized cable rides connecting one tower to another will bring you on air—also 100 feet above the ground. The individual rate for this activity is 350 pesos.
IF YOU ARE NOT INTO RIDES LIKE the foregoing or you're just afraid of height yet you still want a dose of adventure, do the trekking and skywalk.
Trekking in this naturally beautiful place allows you to commune with nature; and be with nature. Exploring the place on foot at your own pace has its own magic. Take time and feel the touch of nature.
The Skywalk gives every adventurer the chance to see the mountain ranges around in a calming atmosphere. No sudden adrenaline rush. Walk through the pine trees also 100 feet above the ground with peace. The choice is yours.
The individual rate for trekking and skywalk is 100 pesos. For the official introduction of all their rides, check their website here.
SUPERMAN RIDE, AS THE NAME IMPLIES, SHALL allow you to fly like the fiction world's superhero called Superman. Through a mechanical manipulation, you can simulate flying while on prone position. Extending one of your arms to complete the signature Superman flying pose is optional. But if you have the balls, maximize the fun!
NOW I HAVE AT LEAST GIVEN YOU an idea what to expect here and what are the activities to be done. Now our next concern is how to start the adventure after you've decided to try it. Follow these three steps:
► Individual Rates
- Canopy and Funicular Ride ▬ 350 pesos
- SUPERMAN RIDE
[BAGUIO] ▬ Superman Zipline Ride Over the Pine Trees

- TREKKING

▬ Starting the Adventure ▬
NOW I HAVE AT LEAST GIVEN YOU an idea what to expect here and what are the activities to be done. Now our next concern is how to start the adventure after you've decided to try it. Follow these three steps:
- Step 1: Attend the Briefing ► In every extreme activity that you do, you may not want to die or get injured in ignorance right? Whether you are a newbie or an ace of these activities, you are required to attend the pre-adventure briefing. A staff of the adventure park will explain everything you should know. Ask a question and make it sure you understood everything before the adventure.
- Step 2: Sign the Waiver ► Of course, this adventure park wants the best adventure for you but sometimes, accidents come unpredictably. This serves as their protection from legal sues. You want to take the risk? Think wisely and sign that waiver.
- Step 3: Present the following to the cashier area ► briefing format with waiver, admission stubs, payment (or receipt if you have paid prior).
[BAGUIO] ▬ STEP 1: ATTEND THE BRIEFING.
[BAGUIO] ▬ SHE IS BRIEFING THE ADVENTURE PARTICIPANTS.
[BAGUIO] ▬ STEP 2: SIGN THE WAIVER
[BAGUIO] ▬ STEP 3
▬ Ending Words ▬
MORE AND MORE ACTIVITIES ARE POPPING OUT in Baguio from nowhere. Indeed, these are signs that this city is unstoppable.

These serve as proof that Baguio continues to be the reigning queen tourist city in Northern Luzon. ▬ to be continued...
