"Inside the building, the feeling is royal. It is very Spanish era in nature."
Fort Ilocandia is the only 5-star accomodation in Northern Philippines sprawling over 77 hectares of land amidst the gentle sand dunes off the South China Sea Coast of Laoag. The vicinity is relaxing and it is impressively wide and clear to the eyes. The main building resembles an old Spanish colonial palace. The building looks like more to be made of bricks. I'm not quite sure if it is really made of bricks but it looks like.
Elegant Bricked Structure
At Fort Ilocandia, they observe parking rules. There is a right place to park your car. Don't worry, it is under the care of the security team. At the first time I see it, it didn't impress me because the architectural design is very common in my city. But when I came inside, it was astonishing!
I stepped my foot in. The floor was really nice. The floor more likely seemed to be made of terracotta tiles transformed so shiny that made me feel my shoes are so special. Next, the ambiance is like a escape to reality. Inside, the feeling is different. It is relaxing to the soul and unbelievably soothing after a long drive. The air inside was cool enough to relax you.
Inside the hotel, you will see the real grandeur of Fort Ilocandia with high-end shops, cafe and other facilities.

Inside the building, the feeling is royal. It is very Spanish era in nature. All the lampshades, the arched windows up to the design of the stairs is lovely! Some labels around are written in Chinese because it is frequented by Chinese tourists.
