"...this blue-colored old house-turned-restaurant has many surprises to keep that can only be experienced if you try to visit this restaurant"
It is actually an old house that has turned to be a restaurant. Halo-Halo de Iloko Balay is gaining the taste of the Ilocanos in
La Union and to visitors as well. Why not take a break this summer and try their
halo-halo specialty after a tiring moment at the surfing beaches of the province.

Spend some quiet time in this restaurant and relax. It is not located along the busy Quezon Avenue or some traffic-jammed streets in the city of
San Fernando. On a quiet street called Zandueta, this blue-colored old house-turned-restaurant has many surprises to keep that can only be experienced if you try to visit this restaurant.
Colored with blue plus a very artistic faรงade decorated with craftily-made additions and paintings, the restaurant looks cute. The idea is so great that just before you enter this restaurant, it is giving you an excitement on what to see inside.
When I went inside, guess what I found? Look at them below, they are just so nice!
The interior always looked very pleasing to the eyes and in the long run, relaxing. Inside is like an art gallery and as you see them, you'll know it is a product of craftsmanship.
It didn't disappoint, but it impresses. It didn't give stress but it did alleviate stress. Imagine from a tiring walking city tour in
San Fernando,
La Union and what I will see is this this kind of restaurant, for sure it'll be a big refreshment to spirit.
Of course, aside from the stunning interior, I came here to have some refreshments. I tried some of the best Ilocano foods like bagnet and I also promised my self not to leave the place without tasting their Halo-halo in a buko.
I am running out of words to say because the only word I can think right now is "delicious!"
By the way I tried to contact the owner to give you an idea on why Halohalo de Iloko Balay should be your restaurant of first choice when going to La Union but I did not receive a reply (Updated: I now received a reply).
