#BAGUIO
Baguio owns the City of Pines tag. However, Baguio's most popular crowded destinations like the Session Road, SM Mall, Mines View Park, Burnham Park, The Mansion and others don't give you the real "City of Pines' experience.
While trekking in between tall pine trees seeing both old and young trunks, my sarcasm suddenly realized that the busy life in Session road, the traffic in Harrison and the shoppers crowd in SM Baguio are ridiculous.

[BAGUIO] β¬ YOUNG PINE TREES GROWING.

A PRIVATELY-RUN ADVENTURE PARK LOCATED IN CAMP John Hay has developed this lush part of Baguio to bring visitors into the old face of Baguio. Mixed with exhilarating activities, you can enjoy the quiet, green and often overlooked part of the City of Pines.

[BAGUIO] β¬ VIEW OF NEIGHBORING ITOGON TOWN

I MUST SAY, THIS IS THE REAL image of Baguio its ancestors wanted her to be known. It is the City of Pines after allβand I felt the very essence of her tag when I trekked into its pine forest.
It may have lost some of its trees prior to the American occupation and reforestation might have restored its old glory but I still found the answer why its early inhabitants and visitors called it as the City of Pines.
I never thought I would ever experience this in Camp John Hay. Finally, my self believed I'm in the City of Pines and this place should and must be the real Baguio image of the past and today! β¬ end
