"Thanks to the internet, I could conveniently shop or do a virtual window shopping with all the brands available out there."
As a travel blogger, shopping for clothes I could use in travelling is essential. Although I love going to shopping districts, night markets and big malls of the places I visit, at times, the millennial culture and characteristic in me is undeniably hard to ignore. Yes, I do shop online sometimes for the apparel and shoes I use on my travels. (Disclosure: This post was sponsored and brought to you by Groupon).
[FEATURED BRANDS] ► TOMMY HILFIGER AND SHOES.COM ON GROUPON

There are lots of online shopping websites and portals but as a wise shopper, I settle for a merchant site that is credible and has established a name in the industry. Obviously, I won't collaborate with or endorse Groupon if it's not trustworthy. It's a great and trusted brand that I can proudly work with. As I've mentioned from one of my previous brand posts, beware of scam sites.
As a millennial, I'm lucky to have experienced the convenience of the digital generation at a young age. As a young millennial living in the province, the choices I see in our shopping centers are limited. Sometimes, the travel essentials I need are not present in my hometown ▼ #VIGAN
that I still have to travel to ▼ #BAGUIO
or ▼ METRO MANILA
to be able to buy them.

I remember, when it was my first time to climb a mountain in Bontoc, I didn't have a pair of hiking shoes. It's ridiculous but I didn't even know how to distinguish a hiking shoe from a regular shoe that time. Take note, that was only in 2013 and I only learned the importance of using a branded hiking shoes after that. I used to hike with my sneakers. Luckily, the trail wasn't hard.
What I would like to say is, it's hard to find brands that fit my lifestyle in the provincial chartered city where I live—basically, not just shoes but also clothing brands and items that are only present in Manila. Thanks to the internet, I could conveniently shop or do a virtual window shopping with all the brands available out there. Whether you're looking for a Tommy Hilfiger apparel for your Korean winter trip or searching coupons for a nice pair of shoes on shoes.com's Groupon page for your Calle Crisologo leisure walk, you can now do it using your laptop or smart phone while sipping a coffee in a cold December morning in Sagada or purchase your summer outfit while relaxing on the beaches of Palawan.
It's about convenience. Embracing the millennial hacks has never been this fun and cool. I couldn't complain. | end |
